A quick and easy guide for adding liquidity to any token on WyreBitcoin

Here are the cheapest and fastest ways to add liquidity to your own token.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the Swap Token Exchange, this tutorial will guide you through all the necessary steps to add liquidity for a token on Uniswap v2 via #WyreBitcoin, using WyreBitcoin Token (WyBTC) as an example.

1. Metamask wallet
2. ERC-20 WyBTC tokens + ETH tokens
3. WyreBitcoin Swap

Step by Step Tutorial 

To begin, you will need WyBTC and ETH in your Metamask wallet and some additional ETH for the gas fees. If you need more WyBTC you can buy for ETH it in Buy WyBTC, or use your own token.

Step 1: Go to https://www.wyrebitcoin.com/wallet/#/exchange/

Once you are on the WyreBitcoin Swap website connect your Metamask wallet by clicking on “Connect Wallet” in the top right corner, followed by clicking MetaMask.

Step 2: Connecting to the pool

Search for the WyBTC/ETH liquidity pool or add new token by pasting the smart contract address for WyBTC into the Wallet section ADD CUSTOM TOKEN. Once the contract address has been entered, add the token for easy reference in the future. Once again, you can add your own token.

Step 3: Approve WyBTC and Add Liquidity

Enter the amount of WyBTC you want to add to the liquidity pool and ETH. Approve WyBTC button and confirm the transaction. Then click the bright blue “Add Liquidity” button and confirm the transaction.

Step 4: Confirm

You will then need to confirm the transaction in your Metamask wallet. It will display the gas fee and the total transaction amount. If everything looks correct click on “Confirm”.

Congratulations, as soon as the transaction is confirmed you are now a liquidity provider for the WyBTC/ETH pairing.
